Halliday Avray-Wilson was in London in 1967 and subsequently moved his studio to France in 1994. He utilizes traditional sculpting methods and materials, such as bronze and brass, together with innovative techniques to create a fascinating and unique body of work, his recent output is characterized by a fascination with explosives. Avray-Wilson's 'Running Man' was on display at the Olympic Village in Stratford, London. In 2011 he was honoured 'Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' by the French Ministry of Culture.
