The plate in the Art Nouveau taste, finely painted with a brunette beauty with poppies in her hair, holding a diaphanous drape behind her, flanked by gilt stylized flowers; the vase of tapering cylindrical form with undulating rim, painted after Nonnenbruch in the Orientalist taste with a three-quarter length portrait of a scantily-clad woman holding a thyrsus before a vase of peacock plumes
