Pauillac, 1er cru classé
Levels: seven bottom neck or better, four top shoulder, one upper shoulder; tissue wrapped prior to Specialist inspection

"Full, round and complete, with great structure, complexity and depth. Although the wine was mature, it certainly wasn't over the hill, and shows lively notes of ripe red and black fruits strongly colored by cedar, lead pencil and wet stones. On the palate, the tannins were svelte and melting, the alcohol was generous without excess, and the body was rich but not cloying." CC, September 2004
