The cartouche form back with rocaille cresting issuing trailing flowers, the padded back, arms and serpentine seat upholstered in scarlet Chinoiserie woven silk, with outswept arms above a shaped apron centered by an asymetric ruffled clasp, on shell-headed cabriole legs ending in ruffled toes
