CLASSICAL PERIOD, CIRCA 460 B.C.
Naturalistically modelled, the standing bearded nude god turned to his left with left leg advanced and slightly bent at knee, left arm extended forward, the right arm extended behind and raised to throw thunderbolt, now missing, wearing a fillet in his curling hair
