A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE PAINTED ENAMEL SAUCER DISHES
YONGZHENG ENAMELLED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE-GOURD AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
The dishes are of shallow circular form. The interiors are decorated with birds and butterflies amidst peony and morning glory blossoming branches above rockwork, all within a floral border. On the reverse there is a cracked-ice and prunus band in pink.
