FOUR JADE SNUFF BOTTLES
18TH/19TH CENTURY
One bottle is of double-gourd form, the stone is of an even pale tone with a pale russet area. Another bottle is pebble-shaped, carved in high relief with a large peony bloom. The stone has a greyish-white tone with russet areas. The rectangular white jade bottle, is decorated with a pair of monster-mask ring handles to each side, and the stone is of an even white tone. The yellow jade bottle is also carved with a pair of monster-mask ring handles to each side, and the stone is of a yellow-green tone with pale brown areas.
The tallest 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) high overall, all with stoppers (4)
