A GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF SAKYAMUNI
17TH CENTURY
The figure is cast seated in dhyanasana on a waisted double lotus base and with hands positioned in dhyanamudra. He is depicted wearing a robe that exposes his chest and is decorated with incised floral hems. His face is modelled with a serene expression which is framed by long pendulous ears.
