A WHITE JADE 'TWINS' GROUP
18TH CENTURY
The two boys are carved sitting on a long, narrow banana leaf, with a cat behind one boy and a drum behind the other. They are depicted holding hands, with their hair pulled into two buns, and one is holding a ruyi sceptre in his free hand. The stone of an even white tone with russet areas.
