                                            A BLUE AND WHITE SLEEVE VASE 
TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1630-1650
The vase is of elongated cylindrical form with a waisted neck. The body is decorated around the exterior in bright shades of blue, with a continous scene depicting a warrior with three bannermen surrounded by large rocks and plantain trees. The mouthrim is encircled with a band of pendant leaves.
