JIAQING SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The exterior of the bowl is decorated in underglaze blue with the Eight Daoist Immortals standing on various sea animals and attributes, set against a copper-red background of crashing waves. The central medallion to the interior is similarly decorated, depicting Shoulao and a spotted deer.
