Cal. 13ZN gilt-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, two-tone silvered dial, Arabic and baton numerals, outer black railway five minute divisions, red telemetre and blue tachymetre scales, two subsidiary dials for constant seconds and 30 minutes register, large circular case, snap on back, downturned graduated lugs, fixed bar lugs, two rectangular chronograph buttons in the band, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

According to the Archives of Montres Longines Francillon SA, the present watch, a reference 5008, was sold on 1 April 1942 to their agent Ostersetzer in Milan. It was fitted with a Longines calibre 13ZN movement, introduced into the market in 1936.
