LIMITED EDITION, number 160 of 425 copies illustrated by the French Fauvist and Expressionist painter Rouault, and including his one-page address to Baudelaire, 'un frère en esprit'. 500 copies of the prints had been made by Jacquemin in 1927 for Ambroise Vollard who kept them until his death. But, as the limitation leaf explains, many were subsequently lost or deteriorated during the war. After this edition the plates themselves were broken. FINE CONDITION.
