"The 09 Cos is a blend of 65 Cabernet Sauvignon, 33 Merlot, 2 Cabernet Franc. The wine was aged 80 new barrels, and fermented out to 14.5?, with a pH of 3.69 and apparently an IPT of 99 (!) The wine gets my gong for the worst wine of the vintage, with a bizarre, woody, overripe nose with a pronounced choco-coffee aroma, and savage, bitter tannins on the palate." At the estate.
