1783, GOLD INTERLACED L MARKS ENCLOSING DATE LETTERS FF, PAINTER'S MARKS FOR SINSSON, GILDER'S 2000 FOR VINCENT
Each piece painted with a band of vases of flowers within gilt scroll cartouches alternating with pink flowerheads reserved on blue medallions and pink diaper-pattern bands enclosing gilt oval panels of cornflowers and pink roses, within gilt bands, seeded lines, scattered insects and blue-lines, comprising:
A cylindrical gilt-metal-mounted chocolate-pot and domed cover with a turned wood handle (chocolatière et son couvercle), (restoration to spout, footrim and slight flaking to gilding, the cover possibly a contemporary replacement)
A sugar-bowl and cover with a gilt berry finial (pot à sucre 'bouret'), (small chip to footrim with associated hairline crack)
A coffee-can and saucer (Gobelet 'litron' et sa soucoupe), (coffee-can cracked and restored, saucer cracked across and restuck)
The chocolate-pot and cover 5½ in. (14 cm.) high overall (3)
