A young lady, in lace-bordered white dress, rope of pearls and drop-pearl fastened with green ribbon tied in a bow at corsage, pearl necklace tied with green ribbon, drop-pearl earrings and falling gauze scarf and pearls in her upswept brown hair
signed with monogram and dated 'LS: 1761' (lower right)
on ivory
oval, 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.) high, gilt-metal mount within tortoiseshell mount
