We are grateful to Gregor J.M. Weber of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, for identifying this as a work by Johann Honoré Homagius (c. 1642-1696), court painter at Kassel. Two comparable church interiors, one a view of Saint Peter's, Rome, are in the Gemäldegalerie, Kassel.
