of vase shape, on a rising foot and with a reeded rim, wicker-covered scroll handle and domed hinged cover with elongated ovoid finial, the body later-chased with part-fluting and bow and laurel swags, engraved on each side with a regimental crest, maker's initials S.A., London 1807 - 9½in. (24.25cm.), 15.50oz. gross.
