A DEHUA TRIPOD CENSER
LATE MING/EARLY QING DYNASTY, 17TH CENTURY
The rounded body is supported on three animal-mask cabriole legs and is applied around the shoulder with four moulded leaf scrolls bordered between bow-string bands. The waisted neck is encircled with a further bow string below a keyfret border at the rim. The base is unglazed.
