An Art Deco macasser cabinet
attributed to Jacques Adnet, the rectangular top above two brushing slides and three frieze drawers, all with silver-plated pulls, over two cupboard compartments, the reverse with open recess, on plinth base -- 43¾in. (111cm.) wide; and a similar cabinet, the stepped top with open recess, over three drawers and hinged cupboard door, the reverse with a further cupboard door, on stile legs -- 19¾in. (50cm.) wide
These cabinets appear to have been designed for a specific application, the reverse of the larger cabinet is veneered, however the right-hand end is unfinished.
