etching, circa 1664, on laid paper, watermark Phoenix within a Laurel Wreath (G. 33), a very good impression of the extremely rare fourth state (of twelve), trimmed to the subject on three sides, retaining a fillet of paper outside the borderline below, some brown discolouration along the lower sheet edge, otherwise in very good condition
