A CHINESE MOULDED CELADON-GLAZED BOTTLE VASE
19TH CENTURY
Of globular form with tapering cylindrical neck flanked by lug handles, the body carved and moulded with archaistic dragons below two rows of lappets at the shoulder, and stiff leaves at the neck, all covered in an even pale glaze, Qianlong underglaze blue six-character mark to the base, previously mounted
14¾ in. (37.5 cm.) high

Probably supplied by Robert Fogg, London, and mounted by Vulliamy & Son circa 1805 for The. Hon. Edward 'Beau' Lascelles (1764-1814), for Harewood House, Hanover Square, London, and subsequently in The Gallery, Harewood House, Yorkshire, and by descent.
