Of oval outline, the removable cover above a pierced scrolling foliate frieze flanked by serpent handles on naturalistically modelled claw supports and plinth base, restorations to the cover, the beading partially detached
6¾ in. (17.1 cm.) high; 10 in. (25.5 cm.) wide; 5 3/8 in. (13.6 cm.) deep
