A CHINESE PALE CELADON JADE EWER
17TH CENTURY
The ewer of flattened shape with a spout to one side and a dragon handle to the other, decorated to both sides of the body with peony blooms borne on leafy stems, the mouth and foot rims incised with a keyfret band and the stone of a pale tone with opaque areas, minor russet inclusions and grey speckling
