RETAILED BY C. SMITH & SON, 12 PICCADILLY, LONDON, CIRCA 1850
With curved single-edged blade double-edged towards the point and etched on each side with foliage, laurel wreaths, the crossed sword and baton and a 'VR' cypher, gilt-brass hilt cast and chased on each side with scrollwork, a laurel wreath and a further crossed sword and baton, ivory grip-scales, and gold bullion sword-knot, in rare black leather Levée pattern scabbard with gilt-brass mounts (some wear to leather, some surface corrosion to blade)
