Swiss Patent No. 34394 was granted to Louis & Edouard Fallet et Fils of St. Imier for the design of this tourbillon in 1905. Other firms were able to manufacture this under license.

An almost identical watch is in the Science Museum London Collections (reg. no. 1938-318), illustrated in Reinhard Meis, Das Tourbillon, p.313, pl.455-457.
