CASE: the boxwood line-inlaid case with arched top, Ionic style capitals to front door and concave moulded base DIAL: the 9½ inch diameter enamel dial with Roman hours and blued steel beetle and poker hands, signed 'CARL F. HEYDT IN WIEN' MOVEMENT: the single train timepiece regulator movement of year-long duration with Graham style deadbeat escapement, maintaining power, hardened steel endplates throughout the train, backplate with four latch key holes and protruding barrel, bevelled edge glass panels to three sides, beat adjustment to crutch and ebonised wood rod to pendulum; with pendulum, crank winding key, case key and brass-encased weight
