London, 1657, maker's mark RW with three pellets above and an estoile between two pellets beneath
Of hexafoil shape, with two scroll handles, the lobes engraved with plain panels, one with a coat of arms within scroll cartouche, marked on rim, the base with faint scratchweight '9 oz = 4 dwt'

276 gr.
The arms are those of Hobson of Middlesex as granted to William Hobson of London in 1633, published in J. J. Howard, Miscellanea Genealogica Et Heraldica, London, 1868, p. 50. vol. 1., possibly for William Hobson of Hackney (d.1661).
