Each shaped square and with detachable acanthus foliage and bud ring handle, each engraved to one side with a coat of arms within foliage mantling, each marked on interior and finial

The arms are those of Davenport quartering others impaling Sneyd, for Davies Davenport (1757-1837) of Capesthorne and his wife Charlotte (d.1829), daughter of Ralph Sneyd (1723-1793) of Keele, whom he married in 1777. (2)
