A GROUP OF FOUR HALBERDS
17th century and later
Comprising two German halberds each with slender spike of stiff diamond section, crescentic axe-blade and downturned rear-fluke each pierced with circular holes, one struck with a maker's mark, 143 cm. head - a halberd in Swiss 15th 16th century style, with short central spike, 58 cm. head - and a German halberd with leaf-shaped blade and applied axe-blade with downturned rear-fluke, 110 cm. head.
