Banded and cross-banded overall, the rectangular moulded top inlaid with a roundel depicting a crowned monogram, surrounded by interlaced strapwork, with removable central panel inlaid to the reverse with a chessboard and mill board, enclosing a backgammon board, above a plain frieze with a pair of drawers to each side, on sparely turned legs joined by an X-shaped stretcher
