A rare Chinese late Ming blue and white 'kraak porselein' saucer dish
Circa 1595-1605
Painted to the central roundel with birds in a flower-garden, the well and wavy flat rim decorated with fan-shaped panels enclosing flowers and insects, the reverse with alternating panels of ruyi and insects, the base painted with an egret mark
20.5 cm. diam.

Lot Essay
