the bowl of octagonal section, cut with roundels, supported by a knopped stem above a lobed circular foot, the cover with a knopped spire finial cut with bosses, painted in colours and gilt with bird and leaves and bands of cornucopiae among leaves and flowers -- 29in. (73.6cm.) high (overpainted, some wear)
