RARE COUPE EN JADE CELADON SCULPTE DE STYLE MOGHOL
CHINE, DYNASTIE QING, DATEE DE L'ANNEE JICHOU DU REGNE DE L'EMPEREUR QIANLONG (CORRESPONDANT A 1769) ET DE L'EPOQUE (1736-1795)
De forme polylobée imitant celle d'une corolle, la panse est ornée d'un poème daté de l'Empereur Qianlong en caractères incisés. Ce dernier est encadré par une frise de pétales et par une guirlande de fleurs stylisées. Le pied est sculpté en forme de fleur. Les anses reproduisent d'élégants boutons.

Lot Essay

This bowl is incised with a Qianlong poem eulogising the beauty and quality of the natural jade stone and praising the incredible skill of the carver. It is dated from springtime during the cyclical year of jichou (corresponding to 1769) under the Qianlong reign.
