Sold with the original receipt from the Royal Academy exhibition, a personal letter from Sir Kyffin Williams discussing the present lot, correspondence relating to the National Museum of Wales exhibition, extensive correspondence relating to the Oriel Ynys Môn exhibition and a signed catalogue from this exhibition.

'As I am particularly fond of this picture, would you be so kind as to lend it, if I was to hold a retrospective exhibition. I would be most grateful'.
