A STAFFORDSHIRE SALTGLAZED STONEWARE POLYCHROME-ENAMELED JUG AND COVER, A MUG AND A PLATE
CIRCA 1760-1765
The jug painted with Chinoiserie figures seated and playing instruments; the cylindrical mug with strap handle painted with a European and a Chinoiserie figure amidst scrolling foliage; the small plate with flowering branches growing from rockwork, the rim enriched with molded panels of trellis, basketweave and diaper between c-scrolls
