Yann Farinaux-Le Sidaner will include this work in his forthcoming supplement to the Le Sidaner catalogue raisonné.

The present work, depicting the familiar theme of the rose covered doorway of the artist's house in Gerberoy, where he had lived since 1901, is a study for a large oil of the same title (Y. Farinaux-Le Sidaner, no. 544).
