Tapering shape with domed cover, the rim with shaped front section, fluted scroll thumbpiece, handle inscribed S over A.M over 1718, with moulded decoration at top of handle and terminating in an escutcheon, ribbed foot, front engraved with a baroque cartouche initialled TM with a vertical foliate band between, inscribed below Ex dono MS ad SS
