The rectangular top inset with a roundell depicting 'The Fountain of Love' after Fragonard, flanked by lapus lazuli panels, within a lambrequin surround signed 'MILLET A PARIS', above a spring-activated frieze drawer centred by a jasperware plaque of putti musicians, with simulated drawer to the reverse, on turned brass columnular supports joined by an undertier with grille gallery, on toupie feet
