The o-boshi suji bachi helmet of black lacquered iron with a ko-manju itamono jikoro (neck guard) laced dark green sugake odoshi, the gold lacquered wood maedate (forecrest) in the form of a bunch of paper strips; menpo (half mask) of black lacquered iron in the style of the Yoshi-ryu with yodarekake (bib) of kiritsuke-kozane (sheets simulating individual scales) laced with dark green kebiki odoshi; do (cuirass) of horizontal iron plates black lacquered with rows of cross knots on each hishi-nui, the kusazuri (skirt) black lacquered and laced in dark green kebiki odoshi; ko-sode of kiritsuke kozane (sheets simulating individual scales) laced with dark green kebiki odoshi; kawara-haidate (thigh guards); and suneate (lower leg guards) of go-mai-zutsu form black lacquered
