A FAMILLE ROSE PAINTED ENAMEL SNUFF BOTTLE
GUANGZHOU, 1720-1770
Of elongated ovoid form, the bottle is finely painted in bright famille rose enamels with an allover design of large peony blossoms borne on scrolling leafy stems, all reserved on a lemon-yellow ground.
2½ in. (6.4 cm.) high, gilt-metal stopper
