TWO JASPER SNUFF BOTTLES
1750-1900
The first, 1750-1900, is of rounded form and carved from deep red stone accented with yellowish-green and brownish-yellow streaks. The second, 1780-1880, is of pebble form and carved with a pair of confronted chilong, one chilong rendered utilizing the greyish-green marking. The reverse is slightly concave to form a snuff dish and has a smooth polish.
1 15/16 and 2 in. (4.9 cm. and 5.1 cm) high, jadeite and plastic stoppers (2)
