TWO GLASS SNUFF BOTTLES
1730-1840
The first, Imperial Glassworks, Beijing, 1740-1840, is a semi-transparent bluish-green bottle of compressed, rounded form with aventurine flecks and swirls. The second, probably Imperial Glassworks, Beijing, 1730-1800, is a semi-opaque white glass bottle carved on the narrow sides with mask and ring handles.
1¾ and 2 1/16 in. (4.4 and 5.3 cm.) high, jadeite and quartz stoppers, plastic spoon (2)
