AN UNUSUAL WHITE JADE ORNAMENT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The ornament is in the shape of a ring with slightly convex sides that is carved around the outer edge on each side with four inward-facing butterflies that form four corners. The butterflies at each corner are separated by a narrow groove. The stone is of even white color and is well polished.
