A WHITE JADE SHAPED PENDANT
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The somewhat concave side is carved with a figure steering a log boat amidst waves, its bow filled with a stem of lingzhi and a box, and the reverse is carved with a four-character seal, huajia zaizhou (another sixty years of longevity). The semi-translucent stone is of white color with a few small areas of pale russet color.

The figure steering (hua) a boat (zhou) forms the rebus for huajia zaizhou, 'May you have another sixty years of longevity.'
