A YELLOWISH JADE PHOENIX-FORM PLAQUE
17TH/18TH CENTURY
The flattened openwork plaque is carved on both sides as a phoenix with backward-turned head and curled tail feathers. The semi-translucent stone is of warm yellowish color with some opaque buff markings on the edge of one wing and tail feather.

Lizzadro Collection, Chicago, Illinois, acquired prior to 1960.
