A WHITE JADE SHAPED RECTANGULAR PENDANT PLAQUE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The plaque is carved in low relief on one side with grapevine, and on the reverse with a four-character seal, baizi liufang (a hundred sons to glorify the family name). The semi-translucent stone is of even white color.

Grapes, with their many seeds, represent many sons and therefore echo the wish of the seal, baizi liufang, on the reverse.
