A rare edition of Ciruelo's most celebrated work, his treatise on witchcraft, interpretation of dreams, false astrology, divination and superstition. 'The treatment of the subject reveals extraordinary enlightenment in a period clouded by profound and almost universal superstition' (Maggs cat. 495, no 243). WorldCat apparently locates just one copy of this edition: at the Catholic University of America. First published at Alcala in 1530. Palau III, 54942.
