FIRST EDITION of this collection of amatory verse. Part one contains translations of Horace and Anacreon, the two figures in the engraved title, and also Catullus and Tibullus. Part 2 consists of elegies, idylls, sonnets and 'Latinas' in the style of Petrarch, and is introduced by its own letterpress title. From the first press at Najera, a small town in Castile, where printing began in 1615. Palau XXVII, 369312.
