Printed marks, second quarter 19th Century
Each painted with a medallion enclosing an equestrian gentleman and dated 1838, below green-ground borders enamelled and gilt with scrolling flowers, comprising a two-handled tureen and cover, 35 cm. wide; a set of three small two-handled tureens and covers, 20 cm. wide; a serving dish and cover, 36 cm. wide; a serving dish and cover, 42 cm. wide; a bowl, 26 cm. wide; fourteen serving dishes in sizes, 23.5-55 cm. wide; fifty dinner plates, 26 cm. diam.; and twelve soup-plates, 26 cm. diam.
